My allergies are pretty bad, and I usually have some meds handy to get them under control before they get too bad. The job, though, is keeping me too busy. I settled for some cough drops from the corner store, but I haven't been able to go to the pharmacy to get something to clear this up. Hopefully, I'll have some time this weekend. This aching, coughing, and congestion is ridiculous.

Vicks VapoRub took care of all of that in a night for me. I never used to use that stuff (something about rubbing some goop on my chest to feel better weirded me out) but I'm officially sold on it.

I used to use Vicks all the time, but it doesn't do much for me anymore. I'll clear up for the night, but the minute I wake up, the congestion is back.

Oh, great - now I can't hold anything down, either!

This has got to stop! I have an important meeting to attend tomorrow! On another note, I am so thankful that the little dog's first owner was sickly, so he doesn't get sick when I do. He's being very protective, stying in the same room with me, and cuddling when possible.

I'm clearing up a little bit, but now I'm coughing things up :barf:

Sidebar: I took some Tussin at 11:49 this afternoon. It said to take it every 4 hours, but I had stopped coughing and my throat was feeling better. However, at 3:49 (on the dot), I coughed up my left lung and had to take another dosage.

This company really knows its product well lol

It's official. I went to the doctor, and I should be either cleared up or dead by the end of the week. Best part: I'm running the office by myself this week. Read as: I've transferred the phones back to my house so I can be comfy.

I'm sorry, but the bold made me chuckle I hope you feel better.

I worked from home all of last week, but came back in today. I'm still getting the "OMG YOU'RE SPREADING GERMS!" glares when I cough. Maybe I can work from home for another week...

According to the boy, I was coughing up a lung in my sleep last night. I don't know if I should be thankful I don't remember it, or worried that it could have caused some problems.

Making it through work today was pure torture though. I'm pretty sure customers don't like it when their cashier is coughing like crazy ringing up their purchases.

I'm guessing it's the same with waitresses.
I managed to help out a bit between coughing fits, and spent the rest of the night in the backroom.

I got the appt pushed up to today. I spent a good portion of today with my head on my desk. The pain was so bad, I couldn't cough, couldn't laugh, nothing. My sinuses are totally rebelling. I got caught in a traffic jam and missed the appt. They were able to fit me in with another doc and now I'm living in a world of antibiotics, nasal steroids, and saline rinses (which btw is NOT soothing, no matter what the box says).
