But if you drive to work and proceed to sit at a desk all day, you do not need Crocs. I feel the same way about men wearing turtlenecks who aren't skiing - especially since most of them seem to have a ton o' chins.

Jumpers are not OK. Unless you're in a Barely Legal porno movie and they're mini-jumpers.

As heinous as some of the 80's flashback stuff is, I'd STILL take it over the layers of flannel shirts and knit caps or the all black "look at me, I'm a monk" look from the 90's any day.
I just saw Crocs for the first time yesterday, but fortunately.. they were on a group of kids younger than 8. I can't imagine anyone older than that wearing them unless you're cutting your lawn or weeding in the mud!

I am glad to see those pointy Wizard-of-Oz shoes gone. I love the riding boot look. There is a pair from Prada to die for. Got a spare grand? That's what they cost at Neiman's.

I plan on wearing my Crocs in between rounds at recruitment this year to save my freaking feet!

Adults should not collect dolls. Unless you're a granny with a weird fetish or they are for your daughter-- as in your actual, living and breathing daughter with whom you interact on a daily basis.

/Guilty of buying too many toys for my dog and calling one of them her "puppy." Please send me to the looney bin.

What is wrong with adults collecting dolls? Personally, I don't like dolls.. and I always drew mustaches on them as a kid! But, doll collecting is very much like collecting art work. There are some priceless pieces out there made of bisque and porcelain.

Some of the more famous doll collectors are:
Morgan Fairchild
Demi Moore
Britney Spears
Marie Osmond

and.. did you know that John Wayne was an avid doll collector when he was alive?

Ok, that reminds me of the SATC episode where Stanford hooked up with the doll collector and ended up breaking one. Hmmm, Stanford and the Duke. What a funny mental pic!

Ever worn a pair? Ever even tried on a pair? I think it's quite odd that you've never seen a pair on anyone older than 8. You should get out more.

Again, I don't give a shit what people think of crocs, thank you very much. I will still wear them every day to work and my feet will thank me.

Me too! Big flannel shirts, babydoll dresses with boots - I was all about that.

I get out lots, thank you very much.

No, I've never tried a pair, because, personally, I think they're ugly. If you want to wear them, this is America.. you have the freedom to do so... just as Scandia has the freedom to wear jumpers if she wants to...and I have the freedom to wear those Prada riding boots once I take a second mortgage out on my house!

I'm so happy Tippiechick said something! While Crocs may not be pretty they are so freakin' comfortable!!! Can you wear them in every workplace? No! But if you need to run an errand or you can wear them to work, go for it!! Next to my Rainbows they are the most comfortable shoes I own. Granted they are ugly as sin but when I worked retail I can't tell you how great it was that Crocs were covered under our dresscode!

Crocs are ugly as sin, but they are comfortable. I think if you work on your feet they're a safe bet so long as they're approved by your workplace. I don't own any, but a friend of mine made me try hers on after I made fun of them. She just likes them for comfort.

Still wouldn't buy a pair, but she's the earthy-crunchy type and they work for her.

Well, I have FIVE American Girl dolls. And I love Kirsten's dirndl. And I like dirndls and bunads in general- but I would not wear them except as a costume.

And why would Kirsten be wearing her traditional Swedish dirndl with those sandals? She should be wearing thick socks and brown boots with it.

"my Kirsten right now is wearing the mint green work outfit"

There's absolutely nothing wrong with adults collecting dolls. There are way worse things a person could be collecting, honestly.

If you are over the age of 5, no scrunchies or butterfly clips, please!
