Wow! I know AOII is strong, but since they have yet to extend bids, this is amazing.

True, but that doesn't mean I don't know who dropped out of rush to join AOPi...how about you worry about your own University, instead of guessing what I might or might not know. The girls who dropped rush to join AOPi are amazing leaders (as any sorority with no reputation, and starting out in it's first year would). I suggest you shut up before you consider speaking further.
Also, I believe quota ended up being around 80 something? High 70's or low 80's. I haven't really been told definitive numbers on rush.

Having been at UK this week, I knew that they would do well. But 4 over is excellent! All the woman worked really hard and it paid off. Good luck to the other chapters.

Considering you're new around here, I think that this slip should be allowed. TSteven is hardly a person you need to be worried about when it comes to personal attacks. He is always polite & informative which should be cherished & honored around here. Maybe his post made you feel a bit defensive, but you'll eventually learn that he is mostly curious instead of just being your run-of-the-mill smart ass.

Zeta, KD, and Chi-o took the most.
I believe Zeta was at the top with 77, not sure. I partied with the Zetas pretty hard tonight, so I got some of the news.

More from Bama. I hope y'all are interested. After all, I was asked to provide updates though I'm trying to keep things pretty general for obvious reasons.
Skit day is over. Phew! It was long and continues to be unbearably hot! Miserable in fact. We had a few women nearly pass out from dehydration. I can only wonder how the PNMs faired as well as the other Chapters' members.
Now that we've increased to 7 parties at 30 minutes each, this round it's too much without a break IMHO. We emphasized to each of our women they must eat beforehand and drink plenty of water throughout the day, but some simply didn't. One girl said she decided the extra sleep was more important than taking time for lunch. She definately regrets that decision now.
Add in the lack of sleep, hard work, excitement and stress and it's a recipe for disaster. Hopefully Panhellenic will take this into consideration for scheduling next year. Of course that's assuming (and hoping) this trend of the large number of PNMs participating continues.
Tomorrow is Serious Night, aka Preference. I know I'm ready for it to be over. Having learned from past Recruitments, I was organized this year and made sure nothing important was scheduled for next week. It takes me nearly a week to recuperate! I realize I'm not one of these college girls anymore. I don't bounce back as quickly as I used to. I don't even want to think about all the work I have to catch up on that didn't get done during this week.

If you read BamaDad's posts, you see that his daughter felt the same way from the PNM side - that skit day was sort of off kilter. Hopefully, he'll read this and see that it wasn't his daughter alone - it sounds like for everyone concerned it was a tough day.
Almost done!

The Arkansas groups did very well this year and congrats on their new members. Here's wishing AOII much success as our Colonization Recruitment events begin!

Quota was 72 and 6 of 7 made quota or quota plus. Almost the exact same numbers as last year - quota last year was 74 and 6 of 7 took quota.
