Mike's collection was a little too "Baby Phat" for me.
Uli's was beautiful! She should have won.
Laura's was nice
Jeffery's sucked.

Yes. I'm sure thls this may be their first runway show for some models, but so many of them were horrible. They clopped down the runway, not walked.
You know, I really hate the word innovative. I think it's misleading.

I taped the show last night and was really bummed when I heard the winner announced on the radio this morning. What a crappy spoiler!

You last night after watching it for the first time, I just knew that Jeffrey was going to be the winner....I thought it was going to be a toss-up between Uli and Jeffrey. After watching the second showing (after Top Chef premiere), I really think that Uli should have won....
Not that I am not happy with the outcome, I think there were some other factors in play for the Judge's decision, past designs and the like and "breaking out of the comfort zone, etc.)...I think that is why Jeffrey won, he really didn't do the same thing over and over again, each challenge was something different. Uli on the other hand, had almost done the same thing over and over again, with the Judges telling her she needs to break the mold a bit. ::shrug:: that is just my opinion.
All 4 of them are going to have great careers in their respective design style.

I found out by glancing over to the person sitting next to me on the plane and in the Life section of the paper it had an article about Jeffrey winning, like it was in the title. So I was like "oh okay he won, I guess he didn't get booted'.
But in all honesty, as much as Jeffrey bugged the hell out of me, I found his collection the most interesting. I definately liked Uli's but I would rather wear some of the clothes that Jeffrey produced over Uli's.

I didn't see the show, but I just went to look at the pics on the website.
I actually liked Jeffrey's collection the best! (And I didn't like him!)
I thought Uli's was ok, but some of those patterns were just too much.
I though Laura's was horrible! So tacky looking. All those feathers and lace?! The only cute thing was the gold cocktail dress with the black empire waist bow.
And Michael's did look kinda cheap - the gold lame bathing suit? But it was better than Laura's and it had a definite cohesivness.

As much as I love the designers and the fashions...I only watch PR because of Tim. I don't care that he's gay either.
I have him to thank for my expanded vocabulary.

I agree that he wasn't my favorite at all during the season, but his OFW collection stood out more. I was really disappointed with Michael and Uli's work because I really thought that it'd be either one of those two.

Does anyone know when he will get his spread in Elle? I'm actually semi-curious to check it out.

I know last time they did the spread right before Season 3 started...probably for publicity for the new season. My guess would be they would do something similar this time around too.

I just got my Feb. Elle and Jefferey's "spread" is in it. It's a one page article and three pictures of clothes with his Project Runway model. It's pretty disappointing- a very small piece.

For all you Michael Knight fans, he is designing a line of t shirts for Starbucks that will be available online starting Valentine's Day.
