A few of us are flying in Wednesday morning to LAX, but we're staying in L.A. that day. We'll be driving into Indian Wells on Thursday, probably be early afternoon.

Does everyone still have my cell number?

I'm now scheduled to be in two places at once on Thursday! This is going to be a busy Convention.

I have purchased my red, buff and green candy. I need to hem a skirt, get a hat, do laundry and pack and I'm ready to go. Squirrel and rose stamps are ready. I think I'll pack Monday afternoon (took the afternoon off work.. just because I could).

ETA: I made a little something for anybody who finds me before they are gone

Planning out a Convention wardrobe is important pre-Convention business for many Alpha Gam sisters. Follow these simple guidelines to ensure that you pack the perfect outfit for each event.

For daytime meetings and the Opening Night Banquet, the following attire is appropriate:

Daytime wear for meetings, luncheons and the Opening Night Banquet will be business casual: dresses or skirts, slacks or capris, with blouses. While our desert destination will be very hot, the indoor meeting rooms might be quite cool—Packing a jacket or sweater for layering is a great idea. No denim, please!

For the Opening Night Banquet, which will take place outside, attendees are encouraged to decorate hats and/or flip flops to represent their home city or region. This will be a great way to recognize other Alpha Gams from your area at this event. ((So casual business elegance, lol ))

Thank you so much!!!! now how to dress appropriately and wear decorated flip flops-- and if i am carrying my chapter's flag- do i wear the flip flops then too.

You guys I have too many shoes laid out-- I need to consolidate the footwear. Thankfully we will get the great totebags otherwise I would be matching handbags too!

I have 5 pairs of shoes I'm bringing, including the ones I'm wearing to travel. One black, one brown, one white, one pink (travel day) and my gym shoes (wearing first travel day). Oops, and a pair of flip flops for the pool. I WILL get to the pool on Wednesday, I'm determined

ETA: We have whiteboards outside all of our offices at work where we are supposed to write when we're on vacation, at a meeting, etc. I just made a collage of pictures of the hotel to tape to my white board while I'm gone. hehehehe

I've already started to pack..I am trying to see how much I can get in my smallest suitcase plus my carry on bag. Thankfully most of the clothes are made of thin material. That's 3 dresses, 2 during the day outfits, swim stuff, pj's etc.

I'm trying to coordinate so I can wear the same shoes more than once, lo..so I'm down to 1 green, black, white and pool flipflops.. Too bad I'm only bringing 1 outfit for the white shoes. 1 purse cause I don't think I'll need a lot of cash...they take Master Cardl. (won't need Kohl's Belk's, 2 libary cards, CVS, etc, lol.)

There are going to be 4 of us in 1 car and I don't think the trunk will hold 4 large suitecases

Well, if it's a typical Convention, you won't be outdoors very much so pack for the 68 degrees.

My credit card picked a very good day to raise my credit limit. A very good day.

I was just thinking the EXACT same thing-- as I keep adding to the list of things I need to pack, and things to do around the house--oh and I have to pack for my kids too! Why didn't I take all of Wednesday off work-- why did I think half a day was a good idea- I leave work at noon and need to leave for the airport by 130- I am never going to get anything done!
