Fun, fairness and Greek spirit.

You may be seated.

Our first matter on calendar today is In the Matter of Fun on Greekchat. Petitioners have brought a Motion for an Unbiased Moderator in the Rush Forum.

Based on the papers filed with this Court, no oral argument is necessary in this matter. The Court hereby finds that there has been biased deletion of posts and threads that are a violation of the procedures followed by Moderators of Greekchat. The Court hereby orders that the unnecessary deletions and the blatant hypocrisy of the offending moderators cease.

The parties have 10 days to file any Motions for Reconsideration.

I would like to file an amicus brief in support of the Petitioners. OVERALL, your honor, will you permit this?

The Court has not received any Amicus Briefs. If you plan on filing one, please notify Internet Lawyer of your time frame so that the Court's calendar does not become overloaded.

Thank you for your consideration.

I feel bad that your honor has not received any briefs, so I respectfully request that I be allowed to submit the following:

The Court hereby grants a reasonable extension to GP. Please inform the clerk of your revised filing date.

PS: Do some shopping for yourself while you're working that great sale!

Dear Resident Grammarphobe,

Upon creation of our country, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson disagreed on what judges should wear. John Adams, our second President, wanted judges to be similar to English judges and wear red robes and wigs. Thomas Jefferson preferred that judges wear suits. A compromise agreement was reached that judges wear black robes and no wigs. The robe is considered a reminder of the law and a symbol of neutrality.

Just as an FYI, the threads that were deleted were not offensive and were deleted at the whim of some moderator, not by the person who started them.

Yes, there are real lawyers on GC. I happen to be one of them. Too bad you're not smart enough to figure out which one. Trust me, my job has nothing to do with ambulance chasing, but thanks for giving me a good laugh.

Why don't you try to educate yourself a little more before making ridiculous posts?

Laughing at you from here,

Internet Lawyer

Internet Lawyer, I know you're not an ambulance chaser. One cannot chase ambulances while wearing hot pink stilettoes.

Then, that person would never post. We wouldn't want that, now would we?

I love you, Internet Lawyer!
