^^^ I've been wondering this too. and where did Richard go? Are Richard and Ben together? What about widmore? Did they all escape the wrath of the smoke monster? I think the smoke monster definately just took the form of Jacobs brother after the brother died. I think it can take the form of any dead body that's on the island. Remember MiB said he posed as Jacks dad, and Doc Sheperd Sr's body was on the island. He took the form of Lockes body as soon as it arrived on the island(s).

I dont care about Sun and Jin so much. They're fine in the flash-sideways. And we still don't know which reality is true. I was sad to see Sayid go though. he's always been my favorite... until he kinda went crazy this past season. And poor Lipedous...he didn't do anything be be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Oh... and why the shit didnt Kate tell Claire that Claires mom has Aaron safe and sound now? You'd think that would make Claire less of a nutjob. I suppose that would make too much sense... I've always thought Kate was a twit.

i did NOT realize the finale is on SUNDAY!!!! arugh!!! my husband is gonna be PISSED. he'll miss it, i'll have to DVR it for him.

And whoa on all of the connections going on alt reality. I'm not sure how they're going to tie it all up on Sunday. Anyone know how long the episode will be??

Apparently I missed something, what happened to Miles? He went to hide but then wasn't there with Zoe and Widmore

He didn't hide, he ran. Widmore and Zoe hid, Richard went to go reason with it, and Ben provided backup while Miles ran into the woods.

I too thought he couldn't die. Smokey made that happen. Then again never trust a smoke monster...

Funny, though, Ben seemed to not care what happens to him anymore. He figures he's going to die anyway, so he's asking questions and doing pretty much whatever he (thinks smokey) wants him to do.

I haven't written Ben off just yet... As he reminded us last night, he always has a plan. Ben and Miles both have walkies now, and I wouldn't be surprised if Ben asks Miles to get close enough to Widmore to find out what Widmore told Locke before he got shot. (Although I'm still a bit confused about Widmore's death, since it was clearly pointed out in an earlier season that Ben and Widmore can't hurt each other. Am I missing something?) Still, I'm expecting big things from the Ben/Miles combo.

Speaking of that combo, I think Ben and Miles got the best lines last night.

As for Jack... good for him. I think it's always been him. I think he's the one who Jacob hoped would volunteer.

What about Desmond being a failsafe for Jack/the island? I didn't get that.

I agree, I think Miles will get back to Widmore's body. Can't say I was sad to see Widmore go.

Who then? Jacob performed the ritual, jack got an "all knowing" look on his face... no to Sawyer, he's too angry, no to Kate, she ain't got "it." Hurley? Desmond? If not Jack, then I'm going with Desmond.

Desmond was meant for something else. Hurley is interesting but not the "protector" type. Jack was set up to take this from since season 1.

1 more episode left.
