Will someone please tell me how Kanye kept his pants from falling off? When he jumped onto the desk, I though, UHOH, when he jumps off, they're for sure coming down!

How is that physically possible?

Not surprised about Jorge going home, but kind of surprised about Jasmine, I thought she'd have a built in fan base of young girls who vote for people who look like Disney princesses But, I'm glad they didn't waste the, Save the Singer, vote on either of them...

I'm kinda meh about Adam. The kid can sang, but I agree, he's a Broadway type. And the way his tongue juts out when he hits the big/high notes grosses me out (and they always go in tight at those moments - why, camerapeople, why??).

I loved Jasmine but wasn't surprised she went home. I would MUCH have preferred Megan go home. She's a one-trick pony, IMO, very limited in the types of songs she'll be able to sing. I was sorry to see Jorge go but someone had to and I wasn't overly invested in him. Really thought Anoop might've bought it early (he should be thanking his lucky stars and better BRING IT next week!).

My faves remain Lil, Danny and the little blond mom with the pink in her hair, her name escapes me at the moment.

Oh! And re: the rule change, I don't mind it but I think it actually makes the sending-home process a little more brutal, the judges get to look them square in the eye and say "no, sorry" if they don't save them. Ouch!

ETA: And Kanye continues to suck. That is all.

I am very happy Adam stayed! I love him....I have a few thoughts about him...he is either a huge musical type, or he is gay, or both. I am not going gay bashing here, I have no problems with it, I just have that Clay Akin like feeling.

I also like Danny and Anoop, except for Alexis none of the girls impress me.

I am so happy Jasmine went home! I thought the judges would have saved her! They have liked her from the start! I think she is sooo fake!

I hate this new judges free pass crap...the people voted....kick them off.... its that simple....This is American Idol, not judge Idol...

There are pictures of him kissing another man on the internet, so I think you are right!

I don't care if he's gay or straight...but how can one really tell with that picture? That could be any two people kissing.

I agree. I REALLY agreed with Randy's comment about NIN. That's exactly what I was thinking while he was singing.

Hubby, on the other hand thought Johnny Cash was rolling over in his grave. I guess I agree with that too. Hahah.

No, JUNE CARTER CASH is rolling in her grave... She wrote it...

You don't do Johnny Cash. You just don't. Had it been anyone else, it would have been acceptable. But, THAT SACRED song? Oh, hell naw.

And, NIN would NOT have sounded like THAT. Trent Reznor worked with Cash and it still sounded country. Because, even NIN knew better than to fuck with the sound of Cash and country.

Lambert just crossed a line with me that he will never be able to uncross.

I didn't mind Adam, I think he was just doing him, but so far, Anoop, Danny -- and I was going to say Matt, but then he just missed that last note -- owned the night.

One request, will someone please give Megan a Cover Girl contract already and get her to shut the hell up?

ETA: Kris owned it too and I still love Lil

I can not believe the judges didn't rip Adam to shreds for BUTCHERING the Johnny Cash song.

The entire time he sounded like a whiny drag queen. All I could picture was him singing in a room full of guys making out.

I plan on voting for Anoop and Kris atleast 20 times tonight. They were amazing.

I agree! But I am worried that the whole "Influenza B, trip to the hospital" discussion is going to win her sympathy votes. And, I am sorry, but that tattoo is really distracting for me...What is the story on that?

She is truly beautiful, though - definitely Cover Girl material! But does Cover Girl do tattoos???

Exactly what I was thinking.

And I don't know if this has been mentioned before... but does anyone else notice this kind of hip swiveling thing she does when she sings? It's really weird. She just needs to stand still when singing slower songs.
