No more car flags for Wendy lol. They also discovered you can't drive from Vancouver to Hope and have it come out looking like it did when you started lol.
I had the same thing happen to me in high school, except my friend wasn't drunk. He was hot and rolled down the window, completely forgetting about my Red Wings flag. I pulled over on a Michigan left turn-around and he jumped out...then I drove around and picked him up! Those things do get tattered pretty easily. No more flags for me either!

My boyfriend, who is Canadian, is a Leaf's fan. I was watching the game last night just shaking my head. What's wrong with you Leafs?!?

Oh, don't even get me started. My coworker and I were just discussing their pitiful performance last night.

As much as I hate Ottawa, I am going to have to agree here. Belfour is the only one keeping them in this series.

The fact that arguably the worst line combination out of the 16 playoff teams (domi, reichel, fiztgerald) has been their best overall speaks volumes...did that search party find mogilny, yet?

Aggghh. I thought for sure when Matt Cooke scored with 5 seconds left we were destined to win, especially since I hadn't be to a playoff game in 10 years and I was at last night's game.

I was happy to so the Habs win and I hope Ottawa wins tonight so I have something to cheer about!

Lightning over Islanders

Wow...only missed one prediction so far! Who'd a thunk the habs could pull it out in 7!

Next round is:

Avs/Sharks (good series here...might go full 7, as they have in the past, I'll have to show my bias and pick the Avs here, but either team can win this one)

Wings/Flames: I'd like to see the Jerome Ingila show continue, but, it's doubtful...though not impossible. Wings in 6.'

Tampa/Montreal: First glance says Tampa should win this easy, but, same thing was said about Boston, too. Could go the distance...if Theodore stands on his head, and the acting goes away, Montreal in 7.

Flyers/ Leafs/Ottawa winner: Flyers looking very good - pick them in 6.

Being a born-and-bred-Calgary-girl-but-displaced-here-in-TO gal, I was up last night cheering for my FLAMES!!

Oh, course, I just about threw up after Jarome missed the empty netter to have it become a Canuck goal 4 passes later!!

With 15 years between series wins, Calgary whooped it up last night - a friend of mine who lives along 17th Avenue (which dead ends at the Saddledome) said traffic was a standstill for over an hour for 30 blocks down 17th, with folks screaming, honking and cheering...you would have thought they won the Cup again (which was the day after my 18th birthday - May 25, 1989)

Kudos for Montreal to touch base with the pride of the Habs and pull it out.

Now - let's see OTT & TO go to triple overtime...!!!! Go LEAFS!

(edited to make some sense )

Toronto on April 30

I'm going to be in Toronto on April 30, and would like to get one ticket for the NHL playoff game.

Do any of you NHL experts know how I might get a ticket?

Hum....might be a tough one. Ticketmaster is a good start. You can also try http://www.eBay.ca, as well http://www.tickets.ca - I have used them before and had SUPER tickets!!!

Actually the best place to find tickets to all major sporting events is www.boxoffice1.com or www.itickets.ca they are the supplier for most websites.
