My third daughter has transferred there
How wonderful. Is this one of the Chi O's? Has she affiliated with the UGA chapter?

Yes, it's Ballerina! I don't know if she'll affiliate--she'll be a senior in a semester and she has a bunch of heavy courses ahead. She may look into dance team but in the meantime, she's getting to know the Chi Os a few at a time.

Oh wow, the uncles are legendary at UGa's Kappa Sig house. My third daughter has transferred there and has the same last name as theirs and all these people have said, "Hey! Are the "Carnations" related to you?"
it appears that the carnation nation is taking over npc...and nic.

Well, we have a kind of weird ending to this thread--Scarlet didn't get her recruitment application in in time! But all is not lost--she will be a BlazerGirl this year, one of the girls who helps recruit football players. I just hope that the recruits won't hit on her, as they did a friend who was a Georgia Girl at UGa and finally quit for that reason.

Anyway--she'll rush next year! Or maybe she'll pick up a COB, several VSU sororities have those in the winter when seniors graduate.

So.... wait for next year, when at least 3 of the crowd should be rushing!

A late and big surprise; my fifth daughter is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha! She's already made some great friends in the pledge class.

And I'm off to buy some things with strawberries or bunnies or crowns!

Can we have an updated list of where your children are that have joined a sorority? It's mind boggling to try to remember off the top of my head?

My prediction is that carnation, all of her daughters as well as futre descendants, will one day be the decision making body for the NPC, owing to their family making up a large percentage of its members...

WOO HOO!!!!!! Congratulations to the latest member of the Carnation Nation!!!!

FYI - I just saw in the JCPenney's Christmas catalog a lovely diamond necklace, very pretty and delicate, and it had a crown as the pendant.
