Bumping this old thread that went over a couple of years. By the way, Mr. Carnation's cousin who's discussed in the beginning of the thread is now a news anchor on a big Southeastern TV station!

Word on the street is that there are 1400+ signed up for UGA recruitment, which begins one week from today. I think there were... maybe 800 the year I went through and it was mass hysteria.

I cannot imagine.

Milledge can get pretty rowdy during rush; guys finish rush and are placed into their fraternities the night before, and during bid day for the females all of the males line up on the other side of the street. It gets pretty crazy, the street is usually blocked for quite some time.
