I think we should have our next Chicago GC meetup at the Mars Cheese Castle. Maybe Rudey and Jules and Blaine can have a threesome on top of the giant cheese.

One of the cheese places has a giant rat on the top of the roof. What is that one called?

I dunno but that is where the group activities are taking place, for real....
And ladies, I don't know what you're talking about, but you are not backing out of this....it's the harem or nothing.
Jules
--I'm willing to share.

The work we have to do in this harem is just insane! It's starting to affect my school work.
Kath
--And if I have to share my cute study buddy, I GET HIM FIRST.

That statement is so ironic, lol.
Um well I would love to start a new one on topic, but I fear that no one else will come out of the woodwork and speak about their gc relationships or lack therof. It was something I was genuinely interested in, but no one's gonna derail this train unless I say they can. Which is why I wound up doing it myself, lol.
So last call, ladies and gents.....
Yes/No?
Would you have any rules/requirements in effect that you wouldn't use on people IRL?
Someone break out the black clothing....this thread is about to perish.

I would demand a picture of them and a note from their dentist saying they don't have bad teeth.
Truthfully - I do not want an online relationship. I have enough trust/jealousy issues with guys when we are in the same zip code.

No. I feel that I should be able to meet nice enough men in real life at my age and position in life without having to resort to the Internet. If I was older, lived in a smaller town, or was not around men who are similar to me in age or educational background, then maybe.
Mr. Munch and I are long-distance (until this fall), but ours was a no-distance relationship when it started.

See I think that's something totally different. I have a lot of respect (and a lot of non-understanding) for people who are long distance before they're even together.

I agree it seems masochistic. But maybe ya'll require less attention than I do. Having a long distance exclusive relationship is worse than no relationship.
Kind of like long distance eating. It keeps you alive but you are always hungry and rarely satisfied.

I don't understand relationships that aren't in real life in the beginning. It just seems like something not so mature.
We're long-distance 'cause I wanted to go to grad school. I don't know if higher ed is masochistic in that way, but we've been together for so long, it seems sketchy to want to date other people now, and frankly I don't. If I didn't want to be with him, I'd see other people, and I don't agree with being not exclusive after four years, even if I'm pursuing higher ed at this point.
To each her own, I guess...
