if you don't intend to sit where the hostess puts you don't bother to come in. it's not like i can just vanish all the other customers who cam in BEFORE you so you could get the table/booth of your choice, ok?

This would drive me crazy too. However, it sounds to me like a "BOSS" problem. A good employer would not allow this type of BS in the office.

It's a really laid back office. Lots of the employees kids come around, but they go sit in the upstairs kitchen and watch a movie. This kid clings by his mom, jacks my chair when i get up, gets on the computer I need.
And I think the secretary doesn't like me because she sensed I was annoyed at her kid. Well, guess what woman - in 2 years, I'll be a laywer and you'll still be a secretary. So, nyyyhhhh!

What is it in general with kids that act like they have NO sense and EVEN WORSE their parents LET THEM???!!! I used to have a co-worker who would sometimes bring the darling little boy in to work and he would drive me BATTY! He thought that since I was the secretary that that made me babysitter-in-charge. I was UGH about that!
Also, now that I do PartyLite candle parties, DO NOT let your bratty kid come and pick my isht up! Especially while its LIT! I had a 4 year old who came to my show and picked up one of my Ariana fairies (which holds THREE candles - all lit of course) and she tries to walk off with it -- I looked at her mom and she was just smiling saying "oh, isn't that pretty sweety?" -- I'm like PUT IT DOWN!!!!! I would STILL be dusting myself off from the smack my momma woulda gave me had I done something like that!
And what is UP with these *new age* or whatever mommies and daddies that tell me "we don't use the word "no" to our child - it inhibits his sense of creativity and independence" --- I'm like WTH? How bout we foster that sense with a big NO to mommy and daddy for being dumb as a bag of rocks!

LMAO - that sounds just like GPBoy...he used to wander into my room in the sorority house and scan around for candy - one day I had "hid" the dish and he was like "WHERE DID THE CANDY GOOOOOO?!??!?!"

I wish I could - I tried to put the old penguin in, but no images. I can understand why though - some people (not you) go way overboard on the smilies.
