Two points ...

First ...are there going to be any financial requirements? (ex dues and fees) Are there going to be things the need to be financed? (ex philanthropy )? Is so, I'd like to volunteer for the finance committee - budgetary concerns that kind of thing...

Also, are we going to be one grand chapter or will we be divided into chapters? This would be a question for the constitution and by-laws committee.

I should have guessed that YOU would volunteer for the finance committee... there's nobody better!

Has anyone started a listserv for this committee yet.If not I will, but im also thinking that maybe the other committees should get their stuff in first so that we PR ppl can have something to go off of?

DGPhoney and I are working on the Constitution. I think that a mission statement or purpose would be good starting point. If anyone has any suggestions, please PM me. Thanks!

I received a post from Diana (DGPHoney) yesterday regarding this. The Constitution Committee will work on a Mission Statement.

Do any other committees have news to share yet?

The membership committee is currently working up a membership application for all Gamma Chi members. We have a yahoo group listserv going and have at least one person on the waiting list to join the group now.

I've been gone because I've been out of the office AND my internet access crashed this week! Have there been any updates on ritual committee that someone can PM me on?

If not, can we set up a chat time? I've been ruminating on some ideas that *I* think are good...but I need to bounce them off the rest of the committee!

I love the idea i'm new to the whole GC thing...but i think a lot of us greeks need to stick together and help one another out..and this is a wonderful way to do it

OK, If I am In Chargere Of the Conventional Meeting For GCers I am still Proposing KC as meeting Place. If it is so decided, I will need to Know so I can get my Committeee started and in place so we can be working on Logistics!
