Hi all!! New to this chat group. Glad to see lots of Pi's still sharing the bond of sisterhood. Not to get corny, but people don't understand how going through something like we did really creates a bond. Adpi's will always stick together. In life, if I ever come across an ADPi, whether business or personal I always try to help them out anyway I can.
1. College or University
Florida State University
2. ADPi Chapter
Iota
3. Collegian or Alumnae
Alumnae
4. ADPi and Panhelleic positions held
Standards board, Toymaker in Lion Skit (3 yrs.), Panhellenic Rep. Now as an Alum I am active in the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Alum Assoc. as their Public Relations Chair.
5. Why you joined ADPi
I was a legacy, my sister pledged the year before. I was stamped an ADPi before I even knew what it was all about. Loved the sisterhood!! Great support system, some of the BEST friends in all my life
6. Favorite ADPi memory
I have sooooooooooooo many!! Going back to the house after I got my bid!! I ran as fast as I could and as soon as I saw my sister we hugged forever!! I still to this day cherish the picture I have of that.

Collegiate: Intramurals, Leadership, Spirit, Special
Events, Alumnae Relations, and Corresponding Secretary
5. I joined ADPi because the women were the friendliest and
most sincere during recruitment.
6. One of my favorie memories is when I was moving out to
Denver right after graduation and I had mentioned that I
wanted to get together with all of my sisters before I left,
but I didn't have a house or anything since I was living on
campus. (We didn't have a sorority house.) Anyway, one of my
sisters invited me out to the mall one evening a week before
I was to leave. She said she needed to stop by one of the
Alum's house to pick up something beforehand. So, we got
there and went inside. As soon as the door was closed,
about 20-25 women jumped out of places to surprise me. It
was a going away party! I was so touched that I cried. No
one has really ever done anything like that for me before.
They said they had planned it for months. I asked about the
parking, since no cars were outside. They had a "shuttle"
running back and forth from a local church parking lot to the
house. Wasn't that fantastic! I still miss my Zeta Phi sisters
so much! I'm a little misty thinking about them!

1. University of Miami (Florida)

5. The first and finest.... I thought it would be exciting to be a founding member and when I went to the first recruitment session, I knew ADPi was for me!
6. Our Installation Banquet when we received both our charter and the original charter. When the previous Gamma Delta chapter members in attendance were announced, you could hear gasps from sisters in the room who hadn't seen each other in years. They started talking like it had only been days and not decades since they last met. It was amazing, just shows that sisterhood is forever!! Plus I got to meet Grand Council!!
**One year later and so many great memories.... This year's diamond days rank pretty far up there. As Initiation nears (it was postponed because of Wilma), it's great to see how far our chapter has come in one short year. I can't wait to see what the next year and a half holds before I graduate.

Hey ya'll! I'm new to Greek chat and thought that I would get in on the action because I love ADPi so much!
1. Clemson University
2. Zeta Nu
3. Alumnae
4. Alum Chair, Pride Leader
5. I joined ADPi because I felt it in my heart the moment I walked through the door during rush. There wasn't even a decision to be made because ADPi and I were made for each other.
6. One of my favorite memories was Pass the Gavel right before we graduated. Senior roast was one of the best times our pledge class had together. I know this sounds crazy, but I also loved rush because it was a time that the whole chapter was together and since we were so big, like 180 girls, it was a time to spend with girls who weren't necessarily in my close circle. Rush was when I was most proud of my sisters and their accomplishments. It was also a time when we joined to remember my pledge sister that passed away on her way to rush retreat sophmore year and celebrate her life.

1. College or University
The University of North Alabama
2. ADPi Chapter
ZH
3. Collegian or Alumnae
Alumnae graduated 2003
4. ADPi and Panhelleic positions held
open rush chair, social chair, pledge class president, homecoming chair < collegian
I just became the Adpi Recruitment Advisor for ZH Adpi and I was the secretary of the Huntsville, Madison County ADPi Alumnae
5. Why you joined ADPi
When I walked in the door at rush everyone knew who I was because a great friend of mine was already an ADPi and had told them all about me. In other words I felt at home in the Adpi room the first minute I walked in.
6. Favorite ADPi memory
I lived in the ADPi dorm, and all of the nights, that all of us sat in the hallway, talking about whatever at the time, made for a great couple of years. I don't remember any one specific time right now but I would tell every sister to tell every other sister that has a chance to live in the dorm or house to not pass up that opportunity. I felt closer to the girls, that I lived in the ADPi Dorm with, then anyone else ever.

I was so excited to see your post.
I pledged Phi Mu the same semester as you at McNeese. I then transferred and graduated from UL. I also married one of the wonderful Delta Xi KA's from Mc Neese last April!
