Maybe it's because of where I went, but it's amazing to me that a University president would take that much interest in the Greek system. I'd have been surprised if our president even knew which orgs were on campus, let alone addressed those orgs.

With everything going on, I think there had to be some outside pressure on him to write this letter, although he may have had free control over the restrictions imposed.
