All I can say is Soul Food gets better with each episode. This show has come such a long way from the premier episodes.
Now as for last nights episode, yes it was another good one. I could not believe Bird told Terri she wouldn't understand because she wasn't married or had children. I was hurt for Terri, and I wanted to slap the "crap" out of Bird my damn self.
I am glad that Bird did go out and see that she is not missing anything, I think Max was correct in telling her to go, because if she didn't she would have never known what it was really like, and that it was not for her. I still thought she was crazy for wanting to do it, but I could see where she was coming from. Lem has come such a long way, I was glad to see him come around and support his wife, even if she was being and acting simple.
You all know what was funny. When Max said to Lem that they would be back around 3pm for Sunday dinner, and Bird was like you still having Sunday dinner, and Lem was like it's still Sunday. I thought that was classic.
