what are your thoughts on "pulling out" as a backup method to the pill? I know that on its own it's only somewhat effective, but we want a backup for the pill and aren't a huge fan of condoms.

I keep hearing that
the Today sponge is back on the market but I haven't seen them anywhere. I used them when they were still out several years ago and they're pretty great. There is also
Encare -- I'd recommend that over pulling out any day.
