When I was a Beta Pledge I was always proud to wear my pledge pin and wear my kelly green jacket on Wednesdays. I never saw it as a requirement. I liked the fact that others knew I pledged Beta. It was an honor. We always wore our pins with at least a collared shirt. Never with T-shirts.
