These may not be the most creative ideas, but they are what worked for the sororities on my campus. First of all, the best advertisement was letters. This is what caught my eye and got me interested in rush. Seeing groups of girls walking around together with letters definately caught my attention. Also in our campus newspaper, there was a classifides section that included a personals section. All the GLOs would print things. They would vary from things like AXiD #1 in greekweek or AXiD Leslie, you're the best Big, Love Little Mindy . I think you get the gist. Also, we always had sisters on the newspaper staff and that kind of makes sure you always get coverage of your philanthropy events in the paper and also gives the rest of the staff a different perspective on Greeks in general and they do not write nasty coverage of the greek events (this has happened to us before).
