Having read and thought about what I previously wrote, particularly in light of certain posts in the "Do You Have A Gun" thread, I think it's time that we all (myself included) revisited the GreekChat Forums Rules:

By clicking the Agree button, you warrant that you will not use this BB to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

I bring up the rules only because while I can take a ribbing and have no problems with such, I think the jokes and wisecracks at my expense are becoming more abrasive and abusive to the point where my character and reputation is being undermined in the process, and that my personal safety is being questionable.

Again, I have no problems with a little ribbing every now and then, but it is becoming more and more commonplace and it is getting out of control. If you cannot disagree with my views and opinions without having to attack my character, then there is a very serious problem. I am therefore respectfully asking those that respond to my posts (you know who you are), to use ribbing posts sparingly, and in good fun, humor and taste.

If the below-the-belt personal attacks persist, then I will report the poster(s) the site administrator for assistance.

By no means do I intend to start drama, I just want to be treated with the same respect and dignity as any other person on GC would.
