I think that there are conventions, and that was just over-the-top for me.

Also, like anything else that can suck up a lot of time, you have to have a schedule, and stick to it.

When me and my friends played, it was in one of our houses. We did not dress up. We usually ate pizza and listened to Led Zeppelin. It was half playing D&D and half hanging out.
