My hair is naturally dirty blonde, but now that I think about it, I hav been coloring it forever. It all started with lemon juice and sun-in. (now that makes me shutter) I can remember loading it into my hair and laying out for hours in my parents pool. During the winter, I would load my hair with sun-in and blowdry it to get the same affect. My sixth grade year, I was the kid with the bright green hair, due to sun-in and chlorine. I was picked on soooo bad. Ultra swin could not touch what I had...we tried everything to get rid of it. During high school, I used a bunch of different washout colors. My sophmore year of college I finally had my hair professionally highlighted. Someone recommeded to me the place in the mall. It only took twice to figure out what a good colorist was, and this chick wasn't. Then I started going to the ritzy place that just opened in town...she had a mind of her own. I have always been religous about having my hair done every 6-8 weeks. John, my new colorist is wonderful. I have been in love with him for 5 years now. Lots of highlights in the summer, lowlights and highlights inbetween, and more lowlights with a few highlights in the winter. He always foils me...and I count down the days until I have to go back....it is sooo relaxing.
