I'm a Cincinnatian born & raised, and tons of people from my HS go to Miami. I don't think there's anywhere to buy some of the labels you mentioned around here. My impression of Miami had always been Abercrombie, J Crew & Banana Republic. A preppy casual sort of look. I could be generalizing too much and you may know more about the atmosphere than I do, but I think you may be going too high end.
On to more fun topics- are you from Ohio? I love talking to people near me, it makes the world seem much smaller.
