Numbers #1-8 are LUXURIES .  #9 is the real NECESSITY . I hope we all can distinguish the difference.

5. Sobriety.
6. If not, a good sober friend.

9. Self defense lessons.
10. Bringing your own drinks to a party.
11. A car in good working order.
12. A lawyer.
13. Your clothes.
14. An extra pair of clothes, it is not all that uncommon for someone to spill beer on you.
15. Breath mints.
