I don't have an answer, but I can share with you what I've seen:

A three hour probate: marching, chanting, greetings for an HOUR, reciting information, THEN stepping for twenty minutes, marching to the plot, then singing.

A solid hour of just singing by the neophytes and chapter members.

A ten-minute step show.

On average though, the shows I have seen at predominately white schools average about half an hour and the shows I have seen at HBCUs average about an hour.
