Normally, you would use your GPA from your previous school. It's the same for new freshmen. They use their high school GPA. BUT, I know at some schools, the requirement for new freshmen and transfers is usually higher. For instance, at one school where I advise, if you're a current student there, with a GPA from the school, you have to have a 2.3 to rush. If you're a transfer or new freshmen, you need a 2.5 from your previous institution.
It differs on every campus and you should talk to the Greek Life office to make sure you report what is necessary.
