you know, i've been hearing this song on tom joyner's show. on the surface, it SOUNDS nice: has a good beat, is catchy, has (sort of) positive lyrics...but the song irritated me for some reason. i kept wondering why i didn't like this song; however, i soon concluded why i was annoyed:
