I was looking through my HS graduation pictures the other day...and I forgot to mention that our commencement keynote speaker was the Queen of SCHA-WINGGGG...Tia Carrere. Tia (born Althea Rae Janairo) graduated from my high school (an all-girls' Catholic school) wayyyyy back when in 1984
and was invited to speak.
She made the ceremony enjoyable, and I could tell the male teachers enjoyed looking at her. Afterwards we all got the chance to take pictures with her. I still have my graduation cap with her autograph!
