for MLK Day ON?
I learned duing our service project that MLK was removed from his church Dexter Ave while he protested injustices around the country?
he had to come back to Ebenezer BC (father's church) and be placed on the payroll?
MLK wasn't making any money doing what he did for others across this nation?
someone from "Hollywood" took out an insurance policy on MLK so that his wife and kids would be "taken care of" if something would have happened to him?
does anyone know who that person was?
it was Harry Belafonte?
I didn't know that?

I WAS going to say BLACK history moment, but it's EVERYONE'S HISTORY!

my sister sent me an email regarding a job vacancy?
all out of the blue?
she and I have not discussed me changing careers, moving, etc?
it's something I'm thinking about, but whoah?
she lives in the Houston area?
ummmmmmm, could she be telling me I need to move out there?

HC I also remember a lesson I learned in INROADS?
HC in one of our dreaded workshops, we learned about PREFERENCES?
HC the lesson that we learned (and constantly quote facetiously) is that "everyone has preferences?"
HC the workshop basically taught us how to get along when everyone prefers something different?
HC the facilitator repeated that same phrase over and over again?
HC everyone has preferences?
