In the admission booklet, that naraht posted a link to, there is a section on how to join one of the societies. The booklet advises students to go to rush week and then write down the name of the society they wish to join on the last day. So, it looks to me like the societies don't get to choose their members - that is, they have to let in anyone who chooses them. With that in mind.....




I would have thought this is the case too. However, if there is no mutual selection process, then, couldn't lots of less-desireable students join the more desireable societies without being stopped? What does the university do when an unusual amount of rushees all wish to join a small handful of the societies? I wish we could ask the BJU students, but they're probably not allowed to access greekchat....
