Iraqi ties to Al Queda (a org that Bin Laden "leads") doesn't ring a bell to you. If you're looking it was right around the first time whether WMDs were actually there or not. You might want to check up on that.
About WMDs, of course they were there during the Iran-Iraq war, because they were supplied by the US and Great Britain. Could they all been used up? Doubt it. Moved possible but I'm willing to bet these were moved a LOOOONGG time ago. Another possiblilty could be that the bombings by Clinton and the Persian Gulf war successfully destroyed
