I was reading this thread thinking the black pants to which this thread is referring are different from the ones they sell now. I had like 4 pairs of the black pants - all from Express, of course! - and I wore them ALL.THE.TIME. I loved those things. I even had shorts from Express that were the same material - one pair was all black, and the other pair was black w/ the white stripes down the side. Of course they were ultra-short.
We referred to them as "booty-pants." (As in, "What are you wearing tonight?" "Oh, my black booty-pants and a cute top." We wore them w/ sweaters in the winter and wah-lah! Badge attire.) Some of the fraternity boys I knew called them "f*@k-me pants."
I miss those things! Yes, mine are all now my workout or Yoga pants as well.
