Our requirements and fines are very clearly outlined in our bylaws. We've just had a change to the fine structure. We used to have to do a house duty every week, as long as it was done before chapter, it was cool. But the non-house residents ended up cleaning up a lot of things that should have been done by house residents. So what happened was that house duties will be on a "as needed" basis, which will be outlined at that week's chapter meeting, giving each girl a week to complete her duty. For recruitment, all bets are off. That house is spick and span or there's hell to pay (really, just a pretty decent sized fine). For homecoming, GW, and Alumni Day, it's the same. Fines are also assessed for missing more than 2 meetings without notifying our secretary. The "I need to study" excuse is OK for these 2 times, but not after. Afterwards the fines start. I really don't think that people have been fined a whole lot...usually it's just the 2 dollar "forgot to do your house duty" fine.
