I rented the old movie the night before I watched the new one. It was neat to compare the differences. Even thought the new one had better make-up & stuff... there was something about the first Planet of the Apes that I thought was better. I understand the ending was set up so there could be a sequel, but that was the part I didn't like. It wasn't a good conclusion at all. In fact, it wasn't a conclusion ~ I guess that's why I didn't like it. I still don't see how the Apes got on earth, though if Thade already died?????
