Prayer Requests

Thank y'all, very, very much. The shock is gone, and that feeling of acceptance has set in. There will be no arrangements finalized until tomorrow, as his English relatives are trying to see when they can get into town.

I think Don's death also brought home to me exactly HOW close I came to losing my mother last February. Their experiences (except the infection, Praise God!) were identical - neither had chest pains, both had the quad bypass, both came home utterly exhausted, both had trouble seeing. I feel much better about the months I've spent here at my mother's, helping her recuperate. There have been many times of rebellion, of missing my own home & routine - now I truly know that what I did was in response to the Lord's will for my life at this time.

My prayer is that each of you get to meet and get to know a clergyman like Don Wilson. I'd love to say "pastor", but realize how un-pc that is. But everyone had an everyday spiritual person such as him in their lives, the world would be a nicer, sweeter place.
