Ok so I broke down and got a copy of the John Legend CD on eBay. FIRE!!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Get Lifted!!

Wait a minute, the CD is out!!! Let me find out I have been so busy that I wasn't paying attention to the Circuit City ads. I thought this was coming out After Christmas.

It's not out. Everyone must be buying bootleg copies.  The official release date listed with Circuit City is December 28.

Sup RD... Definitely long time no see...
That was what I thought because I was going to use the money I got for Christmas to buy the CD. I sort of wish that "Quiet Storm" was on his album, but I got a good feeling that it is not. I can't listen to the songs he has on his site, but I've heard they are good.

Since I don't watch Ameican Idol I did know anything about Fantasia....but I saw her vidoe to Truth Is last week, and that is my song. It's playing on the radio right now, and I think that I am going to pick up her CD.

I bought her cd and I must say I like it. I like the song "free yourself". You can tell that this is music SHE wanted to produce and not what AI or J Records wanted her to sing.

I bought it last night; still working through it. Her voice is TIGHT (as always). Some of the material  leaves a bit to be desired. But overall I think I'm going to like it. Will be able to say better after I go through it 2 or 3 more times.
I also heard George Huff's (A. I. semi-finalist) Christmas album (covers of holiday music) recently. That joint is off the hinge! The only thing is that the entire CD has a total of like 28 minutes of music. Good stuff, but you want more. Huff's debut (his own new material) album is due in the spring 2005.
