I have Curly hair and I LOVE it. I wash it in the morning, us Redkin #7 or 8 (I don't remember) and any gel, then go about my day. In the evening all I do is use a little spray gel and my hair is still great.
My friends are so jealous cause they have to wash, blowdry, & curl their hair and then it's flat 20 min. later.
I've tried all kinds of gels, mousses, and goos. They're all pretty much the same. I can't blowdry mine though.
I've found that once you accept your curly hair and enjoy it, it cooperates much better.
Just let it do what it wants and work with that. Don't try to mold it into something else, then it will just frizz.
