I have no idea why this murder is such a big deal when similar things happen all the freakin' time, every single day. The only reason this murder was such a big deal is because Laci was a pretty, white pregnant woman. I'm not saying it's not tragic, but you're totally right that stuff like this happens every day and nobody ever hears about it.
