A trip to Pullman when the Cougars are winning can be a nightmare for the opposition.
A trip to Pullman is always a nightmare. Every road that leads in and out of town is two lanes (just ask the guys from Seattle that shot & killed a football player from Idaho just a scant eight miles from Pullman and tried to get away), and the local airport is a joke. There are only a couple of flights a day on small props and it is only served by Horizon Air.
They did win the Apple Cup against UW though (which is the most important game), so they get props for that. However the only other game they won at home was against Idaho, and really, who doesn't beat Idaho?
