Here's my two cents. I love books with good characters, ones that I can relate to.
Jennifer Weiner is a great "chick lit" author. Her first book, Good in Bed, is funny and makes you feel good! In Her Shoes was also good and Little Earthquakes in her latest.
I got a big kick out of the Nanny Diaries and The Devil Loves Prada - don't know the authors of those off the top of my head. Fun reading!
