I'm not saying the struggles of gays or religious minorities are not valid, but that DOESN'T mean they are the same as those of racial minorities.

Some people CAN hide their blackness. One of my co-workers didn't realize I was Black until I told her. I NEVER try to hide who I am, but b/c of my complexion and hair and eye color, people often are willing to believe I'm whatever ethnicity they're comfortable with
. When I was in Europe people guessed I was American, but thought I was Mexican, Indian, Puerto Rican, Italian, damn near everything, BUT Black.
