I don't know--I guess we don't use too much slang here in CA????
First off, people everywhere have accents. Secondly, Californinas do use slang. I remember when I was in high school I went on the Close-Up Trip to Washington, DC, and there were people there from Minnesota, Wyoming, Rhode Island, South Carolina, etc. Everyone sounded different from each other. I remember making a list for my "new friends" of slang we use in Cali--such as crib, the spizzot (spot), fo-shee-zee (for sure)(that some ghetto E-40 slang for ya ), etc. We also, use the woord "like" alot, unfortunately.
