Oh I don't doubt that we'll lose. And Florida never had a winning tradition before Spurrier. All that is true. However I believe we can, and will become a player in the SEC again. And I'm pretty sure there wasn't much trash talking going on. Unless you count my one comment, which if it gets you that offended, then I'm sorry. UF's football team is HORRIBLE this year. I'll admit that freely, but hopefully we'll pull it together next year. Oh and I don't really care if Spurrier comes back, because his system may or may not work again, but any coach should be able to beat Vandy, South Carolina, and Miss St. with the talent that UF has.
I don't know if you've ever been to the Swamp, but it used to be the most intimdating place to play football. Now it's just another stop on the schedual, thanks to Zook, the UAA, and the police presence at the stadium. I miss those days of only a few years ago when we expected to win every game we played. We walked into the stadum with a swager and left with one too. Now we just go to watch a football game. There are some die hard fans still, like me, who will go to a game and stand for the entire time, but the Swamp is changing...I just hope Spurrier can bring back what we had, if he comes back...
