Yes. They both sing from their throats. The difference being that Jessica can actually sing.
Actually, Jessica doesn't always sing from her throat...just went she hits those high notes which is even worse for your voice. You can hear the strain in her voice in "Angels". It's almost painful to listen to.
If she keeps doing that, she won't have a voice in another 10 years.
