Lilly Pultizer has a white dress out, It should be marked down dramatically. I know they had them at Belk's two weeks ago for about $30. You would need to put a white sash on it to cover a pink belt, but you could wear it in the summer.

I never got to wear my white dress. It's really cute too! My chapter just told us to wear all white so most of us wore light khaki pants and a nice white shirt.

			*BIG BUMP*
It's that time of year again to get those white dresses while they still have them. Ladies, if you plan to go through recruitment, GET YOUR WHITE DRESS NOW or you'll be hunting like madness when it comes close to recruitment/rush. It should be the first thing to buy.

I have seen so many nice white dresses this year in Spring/Summer 2006. Old Navy, JcPenney's, Target, American Eagle, Gap, just to name a few.

I've got to know if I'm alone in this.
Every time I see an affordable white dress I'm tempted to buy it and then call the local chapters and see if anyone needs one.

 Anyone else get that impulse?

I ended up buying a white skirt & white tank/sweater set from Macy's for an initiation I attended a few weeks ago. They were very reasonably priced & incredibly cute. I had a hard time seeing any actual white dresses, thats why I had to go with the seperates.

i think that a skirt/sweater set for alumnae is fine, but i really think that collegians should try their hardest to find a white dress. i have seen some very inappropriate white skirt/top combos in the collegiate ranks, where bellies or major cleavage are exposed or the skirt is way too short-this after girls are told to find a white dress that they could wear to church.

Off the subject, but I think that some of Target's clothes runs small. For instance, the XXL tops are tight around my arms. The American Eagle tops are comfortable and roomier. Some of the clothes at Target are okay, and I buy them whenever I'm on a tight budget.
The white dress online at the juniors section at Target is too sheer to me because it says gauze. Therefore, it's see through. I found one good white dress online at Target. It's the one with the wide straps. There's another one that I found is strapless and is questionable to me.

 | I find that to be quite the opposite. Every so often I come across an ill fitting item at Target, but I find that the clothes run larger than other places. I've never shopped at American Eagle, but I find items from Banana Republic and Old Navy run larger as well. However I will say that the shoes at Target rarely fit right, and I think run a bit smaller in length and narrower as well.

I found a white dress at Target last summer for 6.48 and someone wore it at initiation just last week. You never know who is perfect for it and you haven't met yet.
