Okay, the other Chicagoland mall I was thinking about was Northbrook Mall. I found an evening dress at the Neiman Marcus there that is one of my absolute favorites - shatung silk and organza, in blues & greens. I feel like a princess in it!

And count me among the Tyson's Corners Galleria I & II junkies!! If you can't find it there, it doesn't exist!!

Fresno: really improved: Fresno Fashion Fair; added Cheesecake Factory, classier shops.
so-so if you are in a hurry, not as big but also not as good a selection, Sierra Vista.
River Park (oaks?) other side of town from me, is supposed to be nice, but am not up for the traffic.
Favorite mall, in hills above Balboa Island, in Newport Beach, Fashion Island
