I never knew what to ask someone who obviously went to college to find out if they're Greek. Are you in a fraternity? Were you in a fraternity? Face it, some guys (or gals) really don't care once they're alums.
So I ask, "Did you ever join a fraternity?"
And they'll either say, "Yeah I was an ABC", or "Yes, I am an XYZ".
Then you know; was, am. Very telling. Izuis or izuain't?
