It annoys me when people call my sorority "Tri Sig." I don't blame the people, because they don't know better, but it still gets on my nerves! I'm sure that even a lot of Tri Sigma sisters do it. My chapter does NOT, however, and I'll tell you why. There is a gay fraternity (not that there's anything wrong with that) that calls itself "Tri Sig" (Why? I have no idea). Being a sorority that was around long before this organization was, we don't really like being confused with that.
