OK. So I am finished with prefs and decided to come home to get some good food and rest before bid night tonight. Of course as soon as I thought I had made up my mind, prefs went and confused everything...
Coffee- I got really emotional here. All the sisters I had talked to, especially the ones I had such a good time talking to on Philanthropy round, remembered me and said hello and came to talk. The girl I was matched with was OK, I'd never met her before and there were times when the only thing to talk about were the decorations. Looking around, I was sure that if I received a bid, I'd give it the old college try, but probably would never feel that I truly fit in.
Chunky Monkey- I had no emotion whatsoever at their ceremony. It was beautiful and all, I enjoyed being there, but it was weird. All the sisters I had talked to during the week barely remembered me, and if they did remember me, they didn't know what we had talked about. I didn't feel as welcome today as I had at other parties. I was matched with a girl I hadn't talked to before here and also was left several times with nothing to talk about except decorations. =(
Phish Food- You know when they talk about that "feeling" you get at prefs and you just know this is where you're supposed to be? Yeah. That happened here, much to my surprise. I was preffed by a girl I talked to at 2nd party, super cool girl who I got along with well. EVERYONE I talked to remembered me and what we talked about. I really really loved it here. Their ceremony was so beautiful & I cried like a baby. I honestly was wondering why this group wasn't #1 the whole time, because I will be so upset if I don't hang out with these girls tonight, as my new sisters. I know that they all liked me too and were SO happy to see me back. I seriously didn't understand, all week, why they kept inviting me back when I was so focused on the other groups. But now I know why.

I know that I could be happy and that I would be a good sister in any of these groups. But I'm really hoping I made a good enough impression throughout the week at Phish Food, because that truly is where I want to be.
Bid night starts at 8:30pm EST, unless my SRC calls to tell me that 1) we're starting early or 2) I received no bid.
